Notice Before Entry

  1. No cash in the store after closing.
  2. We only accept credit cards with purchases $20 or more.
  3. We do not have cash out service.
  4. We do not have a customer toilet.
  5. We are a smoke free shop.
  6. No school bags or shopping bags allowed in the store.
  7. No food or drinks allowed in the store.
  8. No bicycles or skateboards allowed in the store.
  9. Do not open the product package without permission. Otherwise, you open, you buy.
  10. Be aware of the hooks. Don’t be too close to it as it may hurt your eyes.
  11. Parents must take care of your children all the time in the store. Parents must be responsible for your children’s behaviour.

Vouchers
In our stores we offer vouchers with certain purchase amounts.
You will get $1 for every $20 you spend.
Eg.
$20 - $1.00
$40 - $2.00
Note: 
  • All vouchers could only be used for next purchase and will expire in one month. Customer should check the expiry date carefully and any other terms and conditions on the voucher.
  • Special goods do not participate in this activity.

Refund
When you are NOT entitled to a refund:

You are not automatically entitled to take goods back for a refund if you’ve changed your mind and decide you don’t want the goods. For example, you won’t be able to get a refund on goods if:

  • you have buyer’s remorse and wish you hadn’t spent the money
  • you find cheaper goods in a different shop
  • you get the goods home and your wife doesn’t like the colour
  • you buy some clothes, don't try them on beforehand and find out later that they're too small
  • you buy goods as a gift for someone and they already have these goods
When you ARE entitled to a refund:
  • you are entitled to a refund if there’s something seriously wrong with the goods or with the way they were sold to you. For example, you may be entitled to a refund if:
  • the goods were advertised as “the cheapest in town” and you find them being sold for half the price at a shop around the corner from where you bought them
  • you get the goods home and find that the colour is different to the one named on the packaging
  • the shop assistant put a size 'small' in the bag, when you asked for an 'XXL'
  • you bought goods as a gift but the goods don’t work properly.

Refund policy in our stores:

4. Could offer return, exchange or give a credit note alternatively
5. For exchange policy, we will at our discretion offer to exchange for an item of the same value, or provide you with a credit note.

 Lay-by

All Go!NZ Variety and Gift stores accept lay-bys on goods. Ask our store manager if the product is available for lay-bys. This means the goods are set aside for you after we have agreed to the terms of our lay-by policy. You will pay a deposit and agree to pay the balance of the purchase price over a number of instalments (usually 2 or more). Instalments can be accepted weekly, fortnightly or monthly as long as the final payment is paid no longer than 90 days from the date of the deposit.

  1. Only goods with a value of more than $50.00 can be placed on lay-by.
  2. Perishable goods such as batteries cannot be purchased in this way.
  3. Soiled, damaged or clearance items cannot be put on lay-by.
  4. A minimum deposit of 20% of the value of the item or $20.00, whichever is greater, must be paid as a deposit together with a non-refundable set up fee of $2.00. Managers have the discretion to vary the deposit.
  5. Lay-By payments can only be made at the store where the goods are held.
  6. One lay-by agreement per customer at any one time. The lay-by must be paid in full before and goods can be taken.
  7. Where a lay-by purchase includes more than one item, the items cannot be separated.
  8. Unless authorized by the store manager, failure to pay the instalments on time and in full means the customer have broken the lay-by arrangement and the goods will be returned to stock in the store.
  9. We can only terminate the arrangement if the customer fail to pay the instalments within the agreed time. If the lay-by agreement is terminated, all money paid by the customer, except for the setup fee, will be refunded but the customer must pay a $5.00 termination fee.
  10. Customers must be 18 years old to purchase on lay-by.
